After 4 years of persistent effort by my friend Maddy Oden, "Cytotec" legislation has finally been introduced in the California Assembly. Maddy is an Oakland woman who lost her daughter and granddaughter to a cytotec induced uterine rupture in early 2002. . . more info at tatia.org/

Pro choice advocates sometimes have a hard time embracing informed consent/refusal (choice) issues related to misoprostol (cytotec). I urge Californians to recognize the distinction between using this drug as part 2 of the RU486 combo and cytotec induction of near term labor, and support this bill.
